Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) Sensor 13: Installation

NOTE: Check for the presence of anti-seize on the first 3 threads of the sensor. If there is no anti-seize present or is partially missing, apply anti-seize to the first 3 threads of the NOx sensor prior to installation.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Material
: Bostik Never-Seez Regular Grade (nickel free) Anti-Seize and Lubricating Compound

NOTE: This step is required only when a new NOx sensor is being installed. After the new NOx sensor is installed, using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the following:
- Reset/clear the specified function for the nitrogen oxide.
- Clear the continuous PCM DTCs and reset the emissions monitors information in the PCM. Refer to ENGINE CONTROLS - DIAGNOSTIC METHODS (DIESEL) .
