  1. Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

    Refer to the DTC Fault Trigger Conditions.

    DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

    DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition
    PCM P06E9:00 Engine Starter Performance: No Sub Type Information No engine rotation detected during crank event

    Possible Sources 

    • Battery
    • Battery Cables
    • IPC
    • Starter
    • BJB starter relay
    • Wiring, terminals or connectors

  2. T1 VERIFY THE ENGINE CRANKS

    • Place the ignition switch in the START position.

    Does the engine crank? 

    Yes  REFER to: Engine Starting Control System .
    No  REFER to: Starting System .
