Passenger Airbag Deactivation (PAD) Switch

The PAD switch is a two-position switch which requires using a key to enable or disable the passenger airbag. Each switch position has a resistor that, when selected, allows a specific amount of current to flow from the RCM to ground. The PAD switch is grounded through the RCM.
