    Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

    REFER to: Lane Keeping System - System Operation and Component Description .

    DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

    DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition
    IPMA U2107:82 Collision Mitigation By Braking: Alive/Sequence Counter Incorrect/Not Updated A continuous memory DTC that sets in the IPMA when the IPMA receives invalid checksums and counters based on collision mitigation algorithms and pre-collision assist is not available. This is an informational DTC which sets upon the software instance, it may be active for the key cycle. A new key cycle and new event would be a fresh start and clear the DTC. The instrument cluster displays "Pre-Collision Assist Not Available" and if the ACC system is turned on the instrument cluster displays "Cruise Not Available".

    Possible Sources 

    • IPMA

  2. R1 CHECK FOR IPMA (IMAGE PROCESSING MODULE A) DTCS

    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, CLEAR the IPMA Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).

    • Test the ACC system.

    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, REPEAT the IPMA self-test.

    Is DTC U2107:82 recorded? 

    Yes  Diagnose all IPMA Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). REFER to the appropriate DTC Chart.
    No  The system is operating correctly at this time. The DTC may have been set due to an intermittent fault condition.
