DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition IPMA U2107:68 Collision Mitigation By Braking: Event Information A continuous memory DTC that sets in the IPMA if messages from the ABS control module or PCM over the FD-CAN are invalid. The AEBS is intermittent or inoperative. Possible Sources
- Communication network concern
- ABS control module concern
- IPMA concern
- PCM concern
- NOTE: Pre-collision assist not available.
- P1 CHECK THE COMMUNICATION NETWORK
- Ignition ON.
- Connect the diagnostic tool.
- Using a diagnostic tool, perform a network test.
Does the IPMA, ABS control module, and PCM pass the network test?
Yes GO to P2 No REFER to: Controller Area Network (CAN) Module Communications Network . - P2 CHECK THE IPMA MODULE CONTINUOUS MEMORY DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (CMDTCS)
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
- Wait 10 seconds.
- Using the diagnostic scan tool, check the IPMA CMDTCs.
Is DTC U2107:68 retrieved again?
Yes DIAGNOSE any ABS module Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). REFER to: Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) and Stability Control . DIAGNOSE any PCM Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). REFER to appropriate Engine article. No The system is operating correctly at this time. The DTC may have been set due to high network traffic or an intermittent fault condition.
