Auxiliary Switches: Removal

NOTE: 12 inch screen shown in illustration, 10 inch screen is similar.
Release the clips and remove the upper centerstack bezel.
Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
- Release the clips and remove the RH instrument center trim panel.
- On vehicles equipped with push button start disconnect the electrical connector.
Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
- On vehicles equipped with push button start disconnect the electrical connector.
- Release the clips and remove the LH instrument center trim panel.
Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
- Release the clips and remove the lower steering column closeout panel.
Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
- Fully extend and lower the steering column.
- Release the tabs and disconnect the gap hider from the upper steering column shroud.
Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
- Remove the screws.
Torque
: 22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)
- Release the clips and remove the instrument cluster panel bezel.
Vehicles equipped with a floor console
- Remove the floor console. Refer to: Floor Console .
- Remove the lower centerstack trim panel.
- Remove the bolts.
Torque
: 22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)
- Release the clips.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
Vehicles without a floor console
- Remove the bolts.
- Remove the pin-type retainers and the RH lower instrument panel closeout trim panel.
- Remove the bolt.
Torque
: 22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)
- Release the clips and remove the instrument panel lower trim panel.
- Release the clips and remove the LH lower centerstack trim panel.
- Release the clips and remove the RH lower centerstack trim panel.
- Remove the lower centerstack trim panel.
- Remove the bolts.
Torque
: 22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)
- Release the clips.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
Vehicles equipped with an instrument panel center speaker
- Remove the bolts.
- Remove the instrument panel center speaker. Refer to: Instrument Panel Center Speaker .
- Remove the screws, release the clips and remove the instrument panel center speaker mounting plate.
Vehicles not equipped with an instrument panel center speaker
- Remove the upper instrument panel tray liner.
- Remove the screws, release the clips and remove the upper instrument panel tray.
Vehicles equipped with a 10 inch display
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Remove the bolts.
Torque
: 55 lb.in (6.2 Nm)
- Remove the bolts, disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the centerstack trim panel.
Torque
: 55 lb.in (6.2 Nm)

Vehicles equipped with a 12 inch display
- Remove the bolts.
Torque
: 55 lb.in (6.2 Nm)
- Remove the bolts, disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the FDIM and centerstack trim panel as an assembly.
Torque
: 55 lb.in (6.2 Nm)
- Release the tabs and remove the auxiliary switches.
