Front Seat Track Motor: Removal

NOTE:
Driver MCS (Multi-Contour Seat) seat shown, other seats similar.

NOTE: Positioning the front seat fully upward provides access to service the front seat track motor with the seat in the vehicle.
Move the front seat to the full upward position.
- Depower the SRS. Refer to: Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Depowering .
- Disconnect the front seat wiring harness electrical connector(s).
- Release the connector position assurance lever and disconnect the electrical connector.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Detach the wiring harness retainer.
- Detach the seat position sensor wiring harness retainer and front seat connector(s) from the front seat track motor carrier.

NOTE: Front seat track components are removed for clarity.
Disconnect the front seat track motor electrical connector, the front seatbelt buckle electrical connector, the front seat track light electrical connector and detach the front seat wiring harness retainers from the front seat track motor carrier.

NOTE: Follow the unique instructions or graphics for this step in the installation.NOTE: Front seat track components and front seat wiring harnesses are removed for clarity.
Remove the front seat track motor.
- Remove the bolts.
- Position the long front seat track motor drive cable out of the front seat track gearbox.
- Remove the front seat track light.
