Front Seat Power Lumbar Assembly - Vehicles With: Max Recline Seats, Vehicles Without: Multi-Contour Seats: Removal

Driver seat shown, passenger seat similar.
- Position the front seat to access the front seat wiring harnesses.
- Depower the SRS. Refer to: Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Depowering .
- Detach the front seat electrical connector retainers and position the front seat wiring harnesses aside.
- Detach the front seat backrest cover straps and position the front seat backrest cover aside.
- Detach the front seat backrest cover lower J-clip.

NOTE: To install, gradually alternate the left and right front seat backrest cover zippers to prevent damage to the seat backrest cover.
- Unzip the front seat backrest cover.
- Lift the front seat backrest cover back flap.
- Detach the front seat backrest cover retainers from the front seat backrest frame.

- Disconnect the front seat upper backrest and front seat backrest heater mat electrical connectors.
- Detach the front seat backrest wiring harness retainers.
- Detach the front seat backrest heater mat wiring harness retainers.
- Remove the front seat power lumbar assembly.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Release the upper J-hooks.
- Detach the lower retainers.
