Front Seat Power Lumbar Assembly - Vehicles With: Max Recline Seats, Vehicles Without: Multi-Contour Seats: Removal

NOTE: Driver seat shown, passenger seat similar.
  1. Position the front seat to access the front seat wiring harnesses.

  2. Depower the SRS. Refer to: Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Depowering .
  3. Detach the front seat electrical connector retainers and position the front seat wiring harnesses aside.

  4. Detach the front seat backrest cover straps and position the front seat backrest cover aside.

  5. Detach the front seat backrest cover lower J-clip.

  6. NOTE: To install, gradually alternate the left and right front seat backrest cover zippers to prevent damage to the seat backrest cover.

    1. Unzip the front seat backrest cover.
    2. Lift the front seat backrest cover back flap.
    3. Detach the front seat backrest cover retainers from the front seat backrest frame.

    1. Disconnect the front seat upper backrest and front seat backrest heater mat electrical connectors.
    2. Detach the front seat backrest wiring harness retainers.
    3. Detach the front seat backrest heater mat wiring harness retainers.

  7. Remove the front seat power lumbar assembly.

    1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
    2. Release the upper J-hooks.
    3. Detach the lower retainers.
