Front Head Restraint Guide Sleeve - Vehicles With: Max Recline Seats: Removal

Driver seat shown, passenger seat similar.
Front seats with audio system
- Remove the front head restraint. Refer to: Front Head Restraint - Vehicles With: Audio System .
Front seats without audio system
- Depower the SRS. Refer to: Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Depowering .
- Position the front seat to access the front seat wiring harnesses.
- Detach the front seat electrical connector retainers and position the front seat wiring harnesses aside.
- Detach the front seat backrest cover straps and position the front seat backrest cover aside.
- Release the front seat backrest cover J-clip.

NOTE: To install, gradually alternate the left and right front seat backrest cover zippers to prevent damage to the front seat backrest cover.
- Unzip the front seat backrest cover.
- Lift the front seat backrest cover back flap.
- Detach the front seat backrest cover retainer from the front seat backrest frame.
- Remove the front head restraint.
- Depress the locking tabs.
- Remove the front head restraint.
All front seats

NOTE: Follow the unique instructions or graphics for this step in installation.
Remove the head restraint guide sleeve(s).
- Pull the front seat cushion away from the front seat.
- Release the tab. Use the General Equipment: Flat Headed Screw Driver
- Remove the front head restraint guide sleeve.
