Headliner - Lowering - Crew Cab

For Information On Ford Color Coded Illustrations, Refer to OEM Color Coding .

  1. Remove The Following Items:

    1. On Both Sides. Remove The A-Pillar Trim Panels. Refer to: a-Pillar Trim Panel .
    2. On Both Sides. Remove The B-Pillar Trim Panels. Refer to: b-Pillar Trim Panel - Crew Cab .
    3. On Both Sides. Remove The C-Pillar Trim Panels. Refer to: c-Pillar Trim Panel .

  2. NOTE: LH Side Shown In Illustration, RH Side Similar.

    On Both Sides. Remove The Sun Visor.

    1. Remove The Screw Cover.
    2. Remove The Screw.
    3. Remove The Sun Visor.
    4. If Equipped. Disconnect The Electrical Connector.

  3. NOTE: LH Side Shown In Illustration, RH Side Similar.

    On Both Sides. Remove The Screws And The Sun Visor Clips.

  4. If Equipped. Release The Clips And Remove The Rain Sensor Covers.

  5. If Equipped. Disconnect The Rear View Mirror Electrical Connector.

  6. If Equipped. Disconnect The Rain Sensor Electrical Connector.

  7. On Both Sides. Remove And Discard The Garment Hooks.

    1. Open The Garment Hook Cover.
    2. Remove The Screw.

  8. Disconnect The Headliner Wiring Harness Connectors, Release The Wiring Harness Retainer And Position The Wiring Harness Aside.

  9. NOTE: The Seat Backrest Latch Is Only Accessible When The Seat Cushion Is Raised.
    NOTE: During Installation, The Striker Should Be In Its Lowest Position For The Latch To Engage.

    Fold The Lh Rear Seat Backrest Down.

    1. Raise The Seat Cushion.
    2. Release The Backrest Latch.
    3. Fold The Backrest Down.

  10. Pull The Backrest Release Strap And Fold The Rh Rear Seat Backrest Down.

  11. On Both Sides.Fully Recline The Front Seat Backrest.

  12. Release The Clips And Lower The Headliner.
