Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The RH electronic IWE contains a DC motor that locks and unlocks the hub.
To engage and disengage the hublock, TCCM provides B+ power on C2371A-4 and ground on C2371A-1.
The TCCM monitors both circuits for short to ground, short to power, and open circuit. If any fault is detected during an electronic IWE shift attempt, the TCCM will not attempt to move the hublock regardless of ATCM request.
DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition TCCM C06A2:13 Wheel Hub Disconnect Motor "B" Control: Circuit Open The TCCM detected open circuit at C2371A-4 or C2371A-1 when IWE movement was commanded. Possible Sources
- IWE RF HIGH open circuit
- IWE RF LOW open circuit
- RHIWE internal open circuit
