Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The left-hand electronic IWE contains a DC motor that locks and unlocks the hub by rotating a cam in one direction between 4x4 and 4x2 positions.
To engage and disengage the hublock, TCCM provides B+ power on C2371A-2 and ground on C2371A-3.
The TCCM monitors both circuits for short to ground, short to power, and open circuit. If any fault is detected during an electronic IWE shift attempt, the TCCM will not attempt to move the hublock regardless of ATCM request.
