Rear Brake Inner Flexible Hose: Removal

  1. Activate the brake service mode. Refer to: Brake Service Mode Activation and Deactivation .
    1. Disconnect the 2 wheel speed sensor electrical connectors and, if equipped, the EPB electrical connector.
    2. Detach the 4 wiring retainers from the brake hose upper bracket and position the wiring aside.

  2. Detach the wiring harness from the brake routing bracket and position the wiring harness aside.

    1. Detach the axle vent hose pin type retainer.
    2. Detach the axle vent hose from the brake routing bracket and position the axle vent hose aside.

    1. Disconnect the 2 brake tube fittings.

      Torque 

      : 159 lb.in (18 Nm)

    2. Remove and discard the axle vent.

      Torque 

      : 159 lb.in (18 Nm)

    1. Disconnect the 2 brake tube fittings.

      Torque 

      : 159 lb.in (18 Nm)

    2. Remove the brake hose upper bracket bolt and the brake flexible hose and bracket assembly.

      Torque 

      : 159 lb.in (18 Nm)
