Rear Brake Caliper: Removal

NOTE:
Make sure that all openings are sealed.
NOTE:
If the fluid is spilled on the paintwork, the affected area must be immediately washed down with cold water.
NOTE:

- Activate the brake service mode. Refer to: Brake Service Mode Activation and Deactivation .
- Remove the wheel and tire. Refer to: Wheel and Tire .
- Disconnect the EPB actuator motor electrical connector and position aside the wiring harness.
- Remove the bolt and disconnect the brake hose. Discard the washers.
Torque
: 26 lb.ft (35 Nm)
- Remove the 2 bolts and the brake caliper. Discard the bolts.
Torque
: 24 lb.ft (32 Nm)
- Remove the 2 bolts and the parking brake actuator motor. Discard the bolts.
Torque
: 106 lb.in (12 Nm)
- Remove and discard the O-ring.
