Axle Shaft - Vehicle With: 3/4 Floating Axle: Removal

Remove the rear brake disc. Refer to: Brake Disc .
On both sides.
Using compressed air, clean the area surrounding the rear wheel speed sensor.

On both sides.Remove the wheel speed sensor bolt and position aside the wheel speed sensor.
Torque

133 lb.in (15 N.m)

NOTE: Note the different lengths of the bolts.

NOTE: The bolts are to be reused.

Remove the bolts and axle shaft.

Torque

166 lb.ft (225 N.m)
