Fuel Supply Line: Removal

NOTE: Fuel injection equipment is manufactured to very precise tolerances and fine clearances. To prevent fuel system damage, it is essential that absolute cleanliness is observed when working with these components. Always install Fuel System Caps to any open orifices or tubes.

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation steps.

Release the fuel system pressure. Refer to: Fuel System Pressure Release .
Disconnect the battery. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect .
Disconnect the fuel pressure and temperature sensor electrical connector.

Remove the retainer clip and position aside the fuel lines.

Remove the bracket bolt.
Torque

: 168 lb.in (19 Nm)

NOTE: Be prepared to collect escaping fulid.

Disconnect the quick connectors. Refer to: QUICK RELEASE COUPLING .
