Wheel Knuckle: Installation

- Install the wheel knuckle.
- Install the new lower ball joint nut.
Torque
: 98 lb.ft (133 Nm)
- If removed. Install the brake disc shield and the 3 brake disc shield bolts.
Torque
: 133 lb.in (15 Nm)
- Install the new upper ball joint nut.
Torque
: 46 lb.ft (63 Nm)
- Install the 2 new shock absorber and spring assembly lower nuts.
Torque
: 66 lb.ft (90 Nm)
- Install the IWE bolts.
Torque
: 106 lb.in (12 Nm)
- Position the brake hose bracket and install the brake hose bracket bolt.
Torque
: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)

- Connect the tie rod end to the wheel knuckle.

NOTE: Use the hex-holding feature to prevent the stud from turning while installing the nut.
Install the new tie rod end nut.
Torque
: 66 lb.ft (90 Nm)
- Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect .

NOTE: Do not use power tools to remove the stabilizer bar link nut. Damage to the stabilizer bar link ball joint or boot may occur.NOTE: The stabilizer bar links are designed with low friction ball joints that have a low breakaway torque.NOTE: Use the TORX PLUS® holding feature to prevent the ball stud from turning while removing or installing the stabilizer bar link nut. Torx® and TORX PLUS® is a reg. tm of Acument Intellectual Properties, LLC.
Position the front stabilizer bar link and install the new front stabilizer bar link upper nut.
Torque
: 111 lb.ft (150 Nm)
- Install the front wheel bearing and wheel hub. Refer to: Front Wheel Bearing and Wheel Hub .
