DTC DESCRIPTION P2598 - TURBOCHARGER BOOST CONTROL POSITION SENSOR A PERFORMANCE WITH STUCK LOW
| Diagnostic: | This DTC sets when the variable geometry turbocharger (VGT) setpoint is less than a specified threshold, the actual VGT position is greater than a specified threshold, and the VGT control limit is less than a specified limit. | ||

| Diagnostic Aids: | The presence of this DTC may indicate that the vehicle is operating in derate mode and may experience a loss of power. After repair, the vehicle may still display a system warning message. Drive the vehicle until the system warning message has cleared from the instrument cluster message center. This DTC sets when the PCM detects a stuck VGT actuator by detecting a position control deviation that exceeds a calibrated threshold. |
