DTC DESCRIPTION P2031 - EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR CIRCUIT BANK SENSOR 2
| Description: | The PCM monitors the operation of the exhaust gas temperature bank, sensor 2 (EGT12) to determine if the EGT12 sensor responds to the increase in temperature of the exhaust gas, during vehicle operation. The PCM then compares the measured temperature to a modeled value. This DTC sets when, after 5 minutes of driving, following a 6 hour soak, the EGT12 sensor temperature does not correlate to the modeled temperature of50°C (302° F). | ||

| Diagnostic Aids: | Monitor the EGT12 PID between ignition ON, engine OFF and ignition ON, engine running for an indication of a concern. | ||
