DTC P0180 - Fuel Temperature Sensor A Circuit

DTC DESCRIPTION P0180 - FUEL TEMPERATURE SENSOR A CIRCUIT

Description:	This DTC sets when the difference between the fuel rail temperature (FRT) sensor value and the PCM temperature value exceeds a calibrated value at engine start after a 6 hour soak.
Possible Causes:	FRT circuit open FRT circuit short to ground FRT circuit short to voltage Damaged FRT sensor connection Low ambient temperature operation Damaged FRT sensor
Diagnostic Aids:	Monitor the FRT voltage and temperature PIDs on a scan tool to isolate an open or short circuit from the system concern. Diagnose any FRT circuit related DTCs first.
