Pinpoint Tests AF: DTCS C200D, U2011, U2100 Or U3000: PSCM Internal Failure

AF1: RECHECK THE PSCM DTC

Clear the PSCM DTCs.
Ignition OFF.
Wait at least 90 seconds for the modules to completely shut off.
Retrieve the continuous memory DTCs.
Does the DTC return?

Yes	No
INSTALL a new EPAS gear. CHECK OASIS for any applicable service articles: TSB, GSB, SSM or FSA. If a service article exists for this concern, DISCONTINUE this test and FOLLOW the service article instructions. If no service articles address this concern, INSTALL a new EPAS gear. REFER to the Power Steering article. ORDER a replacement EPAS gear and INCLUDE the RVC on the form. If this is a Ford paid repair, INCLUDE the RVC on the warranty claim form. INCLUDE the tie rods and boots with the steering gear. SHIP the steering gear in the original box and packing foams to prevent steering gear damage. REFER to GSBs for return shipping packaging instructions.	The condition causing the DTC is not present at this time.

INSTALL a new EPAS gear.
