P245C - EGR Cooler Bypass Control Circuit Low (Bank 1)

DTC DESCRIPTION P245C - EGR COOLER BYPASS CONTROL CIRCUIT LOW (BANK 1)

Description:  This DTC sets when a short to ground concern is detected in the EGRCBV circuit.
Possible Causes: 
  • EGRCBV circuit short to ground
  • VPWR circuit short to ground
  • Damaged exhaust gas recirculation cooler bypass valve (EGRCBV) solenoid.
  • Damaged EGRCBV solenoid harness connector
  • Damaged EGRCBV solenoid harness
Diagnostic Aids:  Verify the EGRCBV connector is correctly seated.
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory 
All GO to PINPOINT TEST AZ .
