DTC DESCRIPTION P205B - REDUCTANT TANK TEMPERATURE SENSOR CIRCUIT RANGE/PERFORMANCE
| Description: The PCM completes a plausibility check on the reductant temperature sensor after a 6 hour cold soak by comparing the reductant tank temperature and reductant quality sensor temperature on startup. This DTC sets when the reductant tank temperature difference compared to the reductant quality sensor temperature is greater than 40°C (72°F). | |||

| Diagnostic Aids:
Diagnose and repair all circuit DTCs before diagnosing DTC P205B. The presence of this DTC may indicate the vehicle is operating in derate mode and may experience a loss of power. After repair, the vehicle may still display a system warning message. Drive the vehicle until the system warning message has cleared from the instrument cluster message center. |
