P3402 - Cylinder 1 Deactivation/Intake Valve Control Circuit Performance

DTC DESCRIPTION P3402 - CYLINDER 1 DEACTIVATION/INTAKE VALVE CONTROL CIRCUIT PERFORMANCE

Description:  This DTC sets when the PCM detects that the cylinder deactivation solenoid is not in the correct commanded state.
Possible Causes: 
  • Corrosion
  • Incorrect connections
  • Damaged cylinder deactivation solenoid
  • Cylinder deactivation rocker arm concerns
  • Restricted oil passages
Diagnostic Aids:   
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory 
All GO to Pinpoint Test KH.
