WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 32 other vehicles, including the 2019 Lincoln Navigator, 2019 Lincoln Nautilus, 2019 Lincoln MKZ, 2019 Lincoln MKT, and 2019 Lincoln MKC. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
The EVAP vapor blocking valve is a normally open valve, electrically closed by the PCM, to isolate the fuel tank from the rest of the EVAP system. The EVAP vapor blocking valve will automatically open to relieve excess pressure or vacuum, in the fuel tank, if the pressure or vacuum reaches a maximum calibrated value. The EVAP vapor blocking valve is located near the EVAP canister.
