NOTE:
For E-Series, Escape/Kuga, F-650/F-750, Motorhome and Transit Connect, an elevated idle is present on new vehicles. Verify the vehicle has been driven for 5 consecutive miles, or drive the vehicle for 5 consecutive miles if necessary, before continuing diagnosis.
NOTE:
If the vehicle runs normally with the ignition in the OFF position, check for a damaged ignition switch, an IGN START/RUN or ISP-R circuit short to voltage, or a VPWR circuit short to voltage.
