Rear Brake Caliper Support Bracket: Removal

- Remove the parking brake shoes. Refer to: Parking Brake Shoes

Vehicles with single rear wheels (SRW)
- Remove the wheel hub. Refer to: Wheel Hub
- Vehicles With: Ford 10.5 Inch Ring Gear Refer to: Wheel Hub
- Vehicles With: Ford 10.5 Inch Ring Gear
All vehicles
- Disconnect the parking brake cable from the parking brake shoe actuator lever.
- Disconnect the parking brake cable from the support bracket.
F250, F350
- Remove the bolt and position the wheel speed sensor aside.
Torque: 177 lb.in (20 Nm)
- Remove the nuts and the brake caliper support bracket.
Torque: 101 lb.ft (137 Nm)
F450, F550
- Remove the nuts and the brake caliper support bracket.
Torque: 101 lb.ft (137 Nm)
