Rear Outer Seatbelt Lower Retractor - Vehicles With: Inflatable Seatbelts: Installation

NOTE: During installation, make sure the seatbelt webbing is not twisted and the seatbelts and buckles are accessible to the occupants.

NOTE: The secondary seatbelt web loop must be positioned down to prevent twisting of the seatbelt.

Feed the lap belt through the seatbelt tongue cover.

Install the pin through the seatbelt tongue and the lap belt bushing.

NOTE: Make sure the pin is pushed all the way in and the spring clip is allowed to ride up on the shoulder of the pin.

Position the spring clip up on the shoulder of the pin.

Close the seatbelt tongue cover.
1. Push the seatbelt tongue lower cover forward to engage the cover.
2. Push the seatbelt tongue lower cover to one side, lift and engage that side of the cover.
3. Push the seatbelt tongue lower cover to one side, lift and engage that side of the cover.
