Brake Master Cylinder - Vehicles With: Hydro-Boost™: Removal

If equipped with a secondary battery, remove the secondary battery tray. Refer to: Battery Tray .
Disconnect the brake fluid level sensor electrical connector and detach the wiring harness retainers.

Remove the bolt and position the power steering lines and bracket aside.
Torque: 177 lb.in (20 Nm)

1. Disconnect the primary brake tube fitting.
  Torque: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)
2. Disconnect the secondary brake tube fitting.
  Torque: 16 lb.ft (22 Nm)

Remove the nuts and the brake master cylinder.
Torque: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)
