Rear Bumper: Disassembly

- Remove the rear bumper. Refer to: Rear Bumper .
- Disconnect the electrical connectors, separate the wire harness guides and remove the rear bumper wire harness
- Release the tabs and remove the license plate lamp.
- Release the tabs and remove the trailer brake electrical connector.
- Remove the parking aid sensors.
- Release the tabs.
- Remove the parking aid sensor from the parking sensor bracket.
- Release the tabs and remove the parking aid sensor brackets.
- Release the tabs and remove the rear bumper step plate.
- Remove the screws and the trailer hitch assembly.
Torque
: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

NOTE: On both sides.
Remove the screws and the outer rear bumper brace.
Torque
: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
