Image Processing Module B (IPMB): Removal

NOTE:
This step is only necessary if the IPMB is being replaced.
NOTE:
This procedure can be used for all locations of the component.
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, begin the PMI process for the IPMB following the on-screen instructions.
- Remove the FCIM. Vehicles Without: SYNC, Refer to: Front Controls Interface Module (FCIM) . Vehicles With: SYNC Without Touchscreen, Refer to: Front Controls Interface Module (FCIM) . Vehicles With: Bang and Olufsen Audio System, Refer to: Front Controls Interface Module (FCIM) .
- Remove the nuts, disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the IPMB.
