Jackknife Protection

This is a feature enhancement that automatically assists the driver in avoiding a jackknife condition when using the PTBA system. A jackknife condition is when a trailer reaches an angle relative to the vehicle where it cannot be controlled while reversing. This is accomplished with the PTBA steering control algorithm which adjusts to the trailer being used based on the user measurements entered. If a jackknife condition still occurs while PTBA is in operation the driver is alerted by a chime/warning strategy to stop the vehicle and then pull straight forward to straighten the trailer.
