Rear Window Glass Sliding Panel: Removal

  1. Remove the loadspace trim panel. Refer to: Loadspace Trim Panel - SuperCab/SuperCrew .
  2. Position the rear window glass sliding panel as shown.

  3. Remove the rear window glass sliding panel left stop screw.

  4. Remove the rear window glass sliding panel right stop screw.

  5. Detach the rear window glass sliding panel left stop and cable.

    1. Pull the left cable to remove the stop from the rear window glass sliding rail.
    2. Detach the left window rail stop from the rear window glass sliding rail.
    3. Remove the cable end from the rear window glass sliding panel.

  6. Position the rear window glass sliding panel to release the tension on the right cable.

    Dimension

    : 0.5000 in (12.7 mm)

  7. Detach the rear window glass sliding panel right stop and cable.

    1. Lift the right cable to remove the stop from the rear window glass sliding rail.
    2. Detach the right window rail stop from the rear window glass sliding rail.

  8. Remove the rear window glass sliding panel carrier guide.

    1. Position the rear window glass sliding panel to full open.
    2. Using long nose pliers, remove the rear window glass sliding panel carrier guide. Use the General Equipment: Long Nose Pliers

  9. Remove the rear window glass sliding panel.

    1. Remove the cable end from the rear window glass sliding panel.
    2. NOTE: Pry at the center of the snap tab to prevent damage to the solder terminals.

      Disconnect the electrical snap tab from the right side rear window glass.

    3. Remove the rear window glass sliding panel.
