Floor Console: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. Release the clips and remove the RH lower floor console trim panel. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

  2. Remove the screw, release the clips and remove the LH lower floor console trim panel. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

    Torque

    : 22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)

  3. Remove the RH finish panel. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

    Vehicles with floor mounted selector lever 

  5. Remove the selector lever assembly. Refer to: Selector Lever Assembly - Vehicles With: Floor Shift .

    Vehicles with steering column mounted selector lever 

    1. Release the 6 clips working from the rear of the trim panel forward.
    2. Release the 2 clips that attach to the instrument panel by pulling rearward and remove the trim panel.

  6. Remove the screws, release the clips and remove the floor console upper finish panel.

    • Disconnect the electrical connectors.

    All vehicles 

  7. NOTE: Position the front seats forward to access the rear bolts, and postion the front seats rearward to access the center bolts.

    Remove the bolts and position the floor console rearward.

    • Disconnect the electrical connector.

      Torque

      : 48 lb.in (5.4 Nm)

  8. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the floor console.
