Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve: Removal

- Remove the engine appearance cover retainers and then remove the engine appearance cover.
Torque: 42 lb.in (4.8 Nm)
- Refer to: Engine Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .

- Remove the nut.
Torque: 53 lb.in (6 Nm)
- Loosen the clamps and position aside the differential pressure feedback EGR sensor.
- Remove the nut.

- Remove the EGR valve to EGR cold tube bolts.
- Remove and discard the gasket.

- Disconnect the EGR valve electrical connector and remove the bolt.
- Remove the screw.

- Remove the studs, remove and discard the gasket.
- Remove the EGR valve.
