Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Cooler: Installation

- Lubricate the new EGR cooler O-rings with a small amount of engine coolant.
  Material: Motorcraft® Orange Prediluted Antifreeze/Coolant / VC-3DIL-B (WSS-M97B44-D2)

- Position the EGR cooler to the water pump.
- Install the new gaskets and EGR cooler tube studs and nuts.
  Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
- Install the EGR cooler mounting bolts.
  Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

Install the EGR cooler mounting bolts and connect the EGR cooler outlet hose
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

Fill the cooling system. Refer to ENGINE COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, VACUUM FILLING AND BLEEDING
Install the engine appearance cover and the cover retainers.
Torque: 42 lb.in (4.8 Nm)
