Glow Plug Wire: Removal

Both glow plug wires

Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect .
Remove the engine appearance cover.

Remove the retainers and the engine appearance cover bracket.

Disconnect the electrical connectors.

NOTE: The oil filter housing needs a minimum of 1 minute to allow the oil to drain out of the oil filter housing to minimise oil spillage.

Loosen the oil filter cap and let the oil filter drain. Remove the oil filter cap.

Remove and discard the oil filter O-ring seal.

Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. Refer to: Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe .
LH glow plug wire
Remove the bolt and position aside the fuel tube.

Remove the bolts and slightly position aside the fuel pump mounting bracket.

- Disconnect the CHT sensor electrical connector.
- Disconnect the bracket and remove the LH glow plug wire.

RH glow plug wire
- Detach the wiring harness retainer.
- Disconnect the MAP electrical connector and position aside the wiring harness.

Disconnect and remove the RH glow plug wire.
