Fuel Injector Supply Tube RH: Installation

NOTE: Make sure that new fuel injector supply tubes are installed.NOTE: Install the new fuel injector supply tubes, the clamp and the bolt finger tight at this stage.
Tighten in the following 7 stages.
Torque: Stage 1: Tighten the clamp bolt to: : 89 lb.in (10 Nm) | Stage 2: Tighten the fuel injector supply tube fittings at the fuel rail to: : 89 lb.in (10 Nm) | Stage 3: Tighten the fuel injector supply tube fittings at the fuel injectors to: : 89 lb.in (10 Nm) | Stage 4: Tighten the fuel injector supply tube fittings at the fuel rail to: : 142 lb.in (16 Nm) | Stage 5: Tighten the fuel injector supply tube fittings at the fuel injectors to: : 142 lb.in (16 Nm) | Stage 6: Tighten the fuel injector supply tube fittings at the fuel rail to an additional: : 50 deg. | Stage 7: Tighten the fuel injector supply tube fittings at the fuel injectors an additional: : 50 deg.

NOTE: The use of long needle nose pliers or another commercially available tool may aid in the connecting of the fuel injector fuel return line fittings.
Connect the fuel injector fuel return line fittings at the fuel injectors.

- Align the center axis of fuel injector fuel return line fitting on the fuel injector fuel injector spigot. Press down on the fuel injector fuel return line fittings in the 2 indicated locations, until they are fully seated with an audible click and a hard stop.
- Push down on the center of the fuel injector fuel return line fitting until it is fully seated. This is the secondary latch.
- Attach the wiring harness retainers, then connect the fuel injector electrical connectors.
- Install the right insulator.
- Attach the wire harness and the coolant hose retainers.
- Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect .
- Bleed the fuel system. Refer to: Fuel System Bleeding .
- Install the engine appearance cover.
