Heater Hoses: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
  2. Drain the cooling system. Refer to: Engine Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .
  3. Remove the engine appearance cover.

  4. Remove the cooling fan lower shroud. Refer to: Cooling Fan Lower Shroud .
  5. Disconnect the heater hose retainers. Disconnect and position out the heater hoses.

  6. Disconnect the tie strap and the heater hose retainer. Disconnect and remove the heater hoses. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer
