Heater Hoses: Removal

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- Drain the cooling system. Refer to: Engine Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .
- Remove the engine appearance cover.
- Remove the cooling fan lower shroud. Refer to: Cooling Fan Lower Shroud .
- Disconnect the heater hose retainers. Disconnect and position out the heater hoses.
- Disconnect the tie strap and the heater hose retainer. Disconnect and remove the heater hoses. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer
