Exterior Lighting - Overview: DRL

The DRL system consists of:
- Low beams (halogen headlamps)
- DRL/parking surround Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) (LED headlamps)
- BCM
For halogen headlamps, the DRL system operates the operates the upper and lower low beam headlamps at a reduced intensity.
For LED headlamps, the DRL system operates the DRL/parking surround Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) at full intensity.
