Intake Manifold: Installation

NOTE:
If the engine is repaired or replaced because of upper engine failure, typically including valve or piston damage, check the intake manifold for metal debris. If metal debris if found, install a new intake manifold. Failure to follow the se instructions can result in engine damage.
NOTE:
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Tighten the intake manifold bolts.
Torque:| Stage 1: 102 lb.in (11.5 Nm) | Stage 2: 35°
- Install the fuel rail bolts.
Torque:| Stage 1: 89 lb.in (10 Nm) | Stage 2: 90°
- Pressurize the fuel system prior to starting the engine. Refer to: Fuel System Pressure Release .
