Transmission Range (TR) Sensor: Installation

- Install the TR sensor.
- Position the park pawl actuator rod into the park pawl sleeve.
- Connect the park pawl actuator rod to the TR sensor.
- Rotate the TR sensor.
- Align the TR sensor to the detent spring.

- Slide the manual shaft and selector lever into the TR sensor.
- Align the TR sensor roll pin hole.
- Install the new manual shaft-to-TR sensor roll pin to the specified height. Use the General Equipment: Punch

- Align the detent spring in the center of the TR sensor.
- Torque
: 97 lb.in (11 Nm)
- Connect the TR sensor electrical connector.
- Connect the selector lever cable onto the manual control lever.
- Pull back on the selector lever cable to verify it is installed correctly to the manual lever.
- If equipped, install the selector lever cable splash shield and the bolt.
Torque: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)
- Install the main control valve body. Refer to: Main Control Valve Body .
- Verify that the selector lever cable is correctly adjusted. Refer to: Selector Lever Cable Adjustment - 10-Speed Automatic Transmission - 10R80, Vehicles With: Column Shift . Refer to: Selector Lever Cable Adjustment - 10-Speed Automatic Transmission - 10R80, Vehicles With: Floor Shift .
