Transmission Fluid Auxiliary Pump - 5.0L 32V Ti-VCT: Removal

- Remove the transmission fluid pan, gasket and filter. Refer to: Transmission Fluid Pan, Gasket and Filter .
- Remove and discard the LH and RH catalytic converter nuts (W520514).
Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) vehicles
- Remove the bolt and the LH isolator cap.

- Using an adjustable stand and a wooden block support the transmission. Use the General Equipment: Wooden Block. Use the General Equipment: Vehicle/Axle Stands
- Remove and discard the transmission support insulator bolts (5863).
- Raise the rear of the transmission with the adjustable stand.
All vehicles
- Remove the bolt and the transmission fluid auxiliary pump tube.
- Remove the transmission fluid auxiliary pump tube seal.
- Disconnect the transmission fluid auxiliary pump.

NOTE: A short 1/4" drive T-30 socket is required to remove the front pump bolts.
Remove the bolts and the transmission fluid auxiliary pump.
