Selector Shaft Seal: Installation

- Slide the selector shaft seal onto the manual shaft.
- Using the special tool, install the selector shaft seal. Use Special Service Tool: 307-549 Installer, Shift Shaft Fluid Seal.
- Install the manual control lever and nut.
Torque: 106 lb.in (12 Nm)
- Connect the selector lever cable onto the manual control lever.
- Pull back on the selector lever cable to verify it is installed correctly to the manual lever.
- If equipped, install the selector lever cable splash shield and the bolt.
Torque: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)
- Adjust the selector lever cable. Refer to: Selector Lever Cable Adjustment - 10-Speed Automatic Transmission - 10R80, Vehicles With: Column Shift . Refer to: Selector Lever Cable Adjustment - 10-Speed Automatic Transmission - 10R80, Vehicles With: Floor Shift .
