Heater Hoses: Removal

Both hoses
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- Drain the cooling system. Refer to: Engine Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .
- Remove the RH fender splash shield. Refer to: Fender Splash Shield .
- Disconnect the quick connect hose fittings.
Heater inlet hose
- Disconnect the quick connect hose fitting.
- Follow the directions to release the quick release coupling type 25. Disconnect the EGR cooler tube. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling

- Detach the coolant hose retainers.

- Detach the coolant hose retainer.
- Release the clamp and remove the heater inlet hose. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer
Heater outlet hose
- Follow the directions to release the quick release coupling type 25. Disconnect the EGR hose. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling

- Detach the coolant hose retainers.
- Release the clamps and remove the heater outlet hose. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer
