Transmission Fluid Cooler Supply Tube - Raptor: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in N, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
  2. If equipped, remove the bolts and the skid plate.

  3. Remove the transmission fluid cooler supply tube secondary latch.

  4. NOTE: Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.

    Using the special tool, disconnect the transmission fluid cooler supply tube from the cooler bypass valve. Use Special Service Tool: 307-569 Disconnect Tool TOC Line (1/2).

  5. Remove the transmission fluid cooler supply tube bracket bolt and disconnect the wiring harness standoff.

  6. NOTE: Whenever turbocharger air intake system components are removed, always cover open ports to protect from debris. It is important that no foreign material enter the system. The turbocharger compressor vanes are susceptible to damage even from small particles. Inspect and clean all components prior to installation or assembly.

    Disconnect the CAC outlet pipe from the CAC.

  7. Disconnect the IAT sensor electrical connector.

  8. Loosen the clamps and remove the air cleaner outlet pipe.

  9. Remove the bolts and position the degas bottle aside.

  10. Disconnect the CAC outlet pipe attachments.

    1. Disconnect the electrical connector and the wiring harness pushpin.
    2. Disconnect the fuel vapor tube quick release coupling. Refer to Quick Release Coupling

    Loosen the clamp and remove the CAC outlet tube pipe.

  12. Remove the pushpins, the bolt and the air cleaner intake pipe.

  13. Remove the transmission fluid cooler supply tube bracket bolt.

  14. Remove the active grille shutter. Refer to: Active Grille Shutter .
  15. Remove the pushpins and the LH radiator air deflector.

  16. NOTE: Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.

    Release the clamp and disconnect the transmission fluid cooler supply tube.

  17. Remove the transmission fluid cooler supply tube.
