Headliner - SuperCrew: Removal

NOTE:
Steering wheel should be in the full inward and upward position for headliner removal.
- Remove the following items:
- On both sides, remove the A-pillar trim panels. Refer to: A-Pillar Trim Panel .
- On both sides, remove the B-pillar trim panels. Refer to: B-Pillar Trim Panel - SuperCrew .
- On both sides, remove the C-pillar trim panels. Refer to: C-Pillar Trim Panel .
- On both sides, remove the front seats. Refer to: Front Seat .
- If equipped, remove the front center seat. Refer to: Front Center Seat .
- If equipped, remove the floor console. Refer to: Floor Console .
- Remove the passenger side front door. Refer to: Front Door - Regular Cab/SuperCrew .

NOTE: LH side shown, RH side similar.
On both sides. Remove the sun visor.
- Remove the retainer cover.
- Remove the retainer.
- Remove the sun visor.
- If equipped. Disconnect the electrical connector.

NOTE: LH side shown, RH side similar.
On both sides. Remove the retainers and the sun visor clips.
- If equipped. Release the clips and remove the rain sensor outer covers.
- If equipped. Disconnect the rear view mirror electrical connector.
- If equipped. Disconnect the rain sensor electrical connector.
- On both sides. Remove and discard the garment hooks.
- Open the garment hook retainer cover.
- Remove the retainer and the garment hook.
- Disconnect the headliner wiring harness connectors and position aside the wiring harness.

NOTE: The seat backrest latch is only accessible when the seat cushion is raised.NOTE: The striker should be in its lowest position for the latch to engage.
Fold the LH rear seat backrest down.
- Raise the seat cushion.
- Release the backrest latch.
- Fold the backrest down.
- Pull the backrest release strap and fold the RH rear seat backrest forward.
- Release the clips and lower the headliner.
- Remove the headliner.
