B-Pillar Trim Panel - SuperCrew: Removal

Upper and Lower B-Pillar Trim Panels
- Remove the front door scuff plate trim panel.
- Release the clips and remove the front door scuff plate trim panel.
- If equipped. Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Release the clips and remove the rear door scuff plate trim panel.
- Position aside the front door weatherstrip.
- Position aside the rear door weatherstrip.
- Release the clips and disengage the safety belt pretensioner boot from the pretensioner bezel.
- Remove the pretensioner bezel.
- Release the clips and remove the lower B-pillar trim panel.
Upper B-Pillar Trim Panel
- Remove the safety belt D-ring bolt and position aside the front safety belt.
- Remove the safety belt D-ring trim cover.
- Remove the safety belt D-ring bolt and position aside the front safety belt.
Torque
: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)
- Remove the assist handle.
- Remove the assist handle bolt covers.
- Remove the bolts.
Torque
: 106 lb.in (12 Nm)
- Remove the assist handle.
- Release the clips.
- Pull down on the upper B-pillar trim panel.

NOTE: The trim panel must be positioned downward to allow the upper clips to release correctly. Failure to follow this may cause damage to the trim panel.
Remove the upper B-pillar trim panel.
