Windshield Washer Reservoir: Removal

  1. Siphon the windshield washer fluid. Use the General Equipment: Fluid Suction Gun

  2. Remove the battery tray. Refer to: Battery Tray .
  3. Remove the pin-type retainers and the bolt.

    Torque: 133 lb.in (15 Nm)

  4. Remove the RH fender splash shield. Refer to: Fender Splash Shield .
  5. NOTE: Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.

    1. Disconnect the washer pump electrical connector.
    2. Disconnect the fluid level sensor electrical connector.
    3. Disconnect the washer pump hose.

  6. Detach the washer hose and remove the windshield washer reservoir.
