Pinpoint Test J : The Front Camera Washer Is Inoperative

  1. J1 CHECK THE WINDSHIELD WASHER OPERATION

    • Ignition ON.

    • Momentarily activate the windshield washer function.

    Does the windshield washer operate? 

    Yes  GO to  J2
    No  GO to Pinpoint Test H 

  2. J2 CHECK FOR WASHER SOLVENT TO THE FRONT CAMERA WASHER JET

    • Ignition OFF.

    • Disconnect the washer hose from the front camera washer jet and place it in a container to capture fluid.

    • Ignition ON.

    • Momentarily activate the windshield washer function.

    Is washer fluid emitted at the washer hose? 

    Yes  INSTALL a new front camera washer jet.
    No  INSTALL a new front camera washer hose.
